1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FilePort. By accessing or using FilePort, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. FilePort is not intended for children under 13.
3. The service
FilePort provides free file conversion, QR generation, SEO analysis, job search, Telegram directory, public-video saving, and optional YouTube upload tools. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. Some features depend on third-party services and may stop working when those services change.
4. Your content and instructions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FilePort a limited, temporary permission to process that content solely to provide the feature you request, such as converting a file, preparing a download or uploading a video to your channel.
You are solely responsible for confirming titles, descriptions, visibility settings, destination accounts, and content before downloading, publishing, or sharing it.
5. Copyright and platform rights
You may download, convert, or upload content only when you own it, have permission, or are otherwise legally entitled to do so. FilePort does not grant rights to third-party content. You must respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and other rights, as well as the terms of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, Google, and any other relevant platform.
6. Google and YouTube connection
Connecting YouTube authorizes FilePort to upload videos to the Google account you select. FilePort acts only after you choose a video and press the upload button. You are responsible for your channel, YouTube quota, upload settings, and compliance with YouTube policies. You may disconnect through FilePort or revoke access through your Google Account.
7. Prohibited use
You must not use FilePort to:
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
- upload malware, illegal content, exploitative material, or content intended to harm others;
- bypass access controls, download private content without authorization, or evade platform restrictions;
- automate excessive requests, overload the service, scrape it, interfere with security, or reverse engineer protected components;
- misrepresent identity, ownership, affiliation, or authorization;
- use the service for spam, fraud, harassment, surveillance, or unlawful activity.
8. Temporary storage and availability
FilePort is not a storage or backup service. Temporary files may be deleted automatically, including conversion outputs and downloaded videos after approximately two hours. Keep your own copies. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful conversions, permanent links, compatibility with every source, or recovery of lost content.
9. Free service and third parties
FilePort is currently provided without charge. Job listings are supplied by third parties and may be inaccurate, expired, duplicated or fraudulent. Verify the employer and destination before applying or sharing personal information. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, listings, content, availability, account actions, quota decisions, or changes to their APIs.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect FilePort, users, third parties, or legal compliance, including for abuse or violation of these Terms. You may stop using FilePort and revoke connected accounts at any time.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilePort is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or error-free operation. SEO results and other informational outputs are general guidance, not legal, financial, or professional advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilePort and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, content, revenue, reputation, or account access; or third-party claims arising from use of or inability to use the service. Because FilePort is free, total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to use FilePort during the twelve months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify FilePort and its operator against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
14. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting the revised version and effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to michaeltaye200@gmail.com or through Telegram.
