1. Who we are
FilePort (“FilePort,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides free file conversion, QR, SEO, job search, Telegram directory, social-video saving, and optional YouTube upload tools at fileport.zmichael.click. FilePort is operated by Michael T.
2. Information we process
Files, links, and tool inputs
When you use a converter or video tool, we process the files, URLs, titles, descriptions, visibility choices, and other inputs you submit. Uploaded source files are removed after conversion. Generated conversion files and complete TikTok downloads are normally retained for no more than two hours so you can preview or download them.
Google and YouTube information
If you connect YouTube, Google provides authorization credentials and basic account information such as your name and email address. FilePort requests permission to upload videos you explicitly select and read the connected channel's video library for Channel Studio. We do not receive your Google password. OAuth credentials are held in server memory for the active connection and are removed when you disconnect or when the application restarts. A limited connection record, such as account email, display name, connection time and upload count, may be retained for service administration and abuse prevention.
Usage and device information
FilePort sets a random visitor identifier cookie to distinguish unique visits and maintain aggregate usage statistics. The cookie does not contain your name or Google credentials and may remain for up to one year. Standard server logs may include IP address, browser information, requested URL, response status, and timestamps.
Telegram directory information
If you submit a Telegram channel or group, we process the title, public link, category, description, type, and moderation status you provide. Approved directory information is public.
Job-search information
When you search for jobs, FilePort sends the role keywords, location and time window you choose to selected public job-feed providers. Searches are cached briefly to improve performance and reduce repeated requests. FilePort does not collect applications, resumes or employer account credentials.
3. How we use information
We use information only to operate requested features, deliver downloads, upload videos at your direction, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, measure aggregate usage, moderate directory submissions, comply with law, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or use Google user data for targeted advertising.
4. Google API data and Limited Use
FilePort’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide the user-facing YouTube connection and upload feature that you initiate.
You can revoke FilePort’s Google access at any time from Google Account connections or by selecting Disconnect inside FilePort.
5. When information is shared
We share information only as necessary to provide the service: with Google/YouTube when you authorize an upload; with public job-feed providers when you run a job search; with the source platform and its delivery network when resolving a public video; with infrastructure providers that host FilePort; or when required to protect users, enforce these policies, or comply with law. We do not sell or rent user information.
6. Retention and deletion
- Uploaded conversion sources are deleted after processing.
- Conversion outputs and temporary TikTok video files are scheduled for deletion after approximately two hours.
- Resolved Instagram stream links and smart QR mappings are temporary and disappear when they expire or the service restarts.
- YouTube OAuth credentials are held in memory and removed on disconnect or service restart.
- Basic connection history, aggregate visitor counts, logs, and public Telegram directory entries may remain until no longer operationally necessary or deletion is requested.
To request deletion of information associated with your email address or a directory submission, contact us using the details below.
7. Security
We use HTTPS in production, signed sessions, restricted OAuth permissions, temporary storage, access controls, and automatic cleanup measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid uploading confidential material unless you accept the risks of online processing.
8. Children
FilePort is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be removed.
9. Your choices and rights
You may avoid connecting Google, disconnect YouTube, clear cookies, choose not to submit directory information, and request access to or deletion of personal information we retain. Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as FilePort changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. If Google-data practices materially change, we will provide an appropriate notice and request consent where required.
